I won't get into all my thoughts about Manny being suspended for PED's because frankly, I'm so disappointed in the the whole thing I don't feel like rehashing it all right now. Maybe in the next couple of days. Needless to say I was really bummed and depressed about it all for most of the day.
The family and I went out for dinner and as we we got into the car and I dejectedly turned on the radio to listen to the Dodger game, the soothing sound of Vin Scully and Charlotte yelled from the back of the car, "Daddy, it's Vin Scully!" The fact that she knew Vin's voice made all the garbage of the day slowly melt away and as Vin said at the top of the broadcast, "No one man stops baseball."
